I was really craving peanut noodles, so I decided to head over to Shu Jiao Fu Zhou to satisfy my craving. When I got there, I was thrilled to see they had a weekend special of fried dumplings—how could I resist?! Naturally, I had to try them, and let me tell you, they were amazing! Honestly, I might even like them more than the steamed ones, so I’m really crossing my fingers that they add them to the regular menu soon.

As always, the food did not disappoint. It was delicious, and the prices are super reasonable. I even grabbed some frozen dumplings to stash at home for a late-night snack. If you haven't been here yet, you're seriously missing out!

I’d give this place a solid 4.5 stars. I’ve been here a few times, and honestly, it's become one of my go-to spots! The food is consistently good, though there was one time when part of my order wasn't quite up to par.

The dumplings? Always fresh and delicious. They’re a must-try. I’ve also grown to really like their wheat peanut noodles. At first, I thought they could use a bit more sauce, but they’ve definitely grown on me. However, one time the noodles were a bit clumped together and didn’t have enough sauce, so I didn’t enjoy that dish as much—but it’s been great every other time.

The food comes out fast, which is awesome if you’re in a hurry. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As for the atmosphere, it’s cozy with plenty of tables. It’s a step above your typical hole-in-the-wall spot—nothing fancy, but perfect for a casual meal. Just a heads-up: they’re cash only, so come prepared!

If you're looking for an affordable and quick bite, this is definitely the place to go! Don't let the line intimidate you – the service is super fast, and you'll be enjoying your meal in no time. It’s a no-frills kind of spot, but the food is what keeps people coming back.

My go-to is the peanut butter noodles, which seem to be a crowd favorite. They're always tasty and hit the spot. I also love their wonton soup – the wontons are FuZhou-style, small and delicate, but packed with flavor. The dumplings are pretty good too, though they’re not the standout item on the menu.

The seating area can sometimes get a bit messy, but the staff is more than willing to clean it up if you ask. Overall, if you're in the mood for a casual, budget-friendly meal, this place is definitely worth checking out!

I’m so glad I stumbled across this hidden gem after seeing it all over Instagram! The prices here are an absolute steal. I ordered the pork and chive dumplings (#4A), and for just $3, I got six plump dumplings. The filling was perfectly balanced—half pork, half chives—and they were delicious. I also grabbed the wheat peanut noodles (#5), again only $3, and wow, I got a full pint of noodles to-go. The peanut flavor wasn’t overpowering, just right. Seriously, where else can you get so much food for just $6?

A quick heads up—it’s cash only, so make sure you’re prepared. I visited around 5pm on a Thursday and was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a line. I ordered and had my food in hand in about two minutes! If you want to dine in, there are plenty of tables available, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal.

Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for tasty food at unbeatable prices!

If you're looking for an affordable spot in New York for some authentic Chinese food, this place is a hidden gem! For less than $10, you can get a meal that's more than enough for two people—a rare find in the city! While the food may not be fancy or gourmet, it's exactly the kind of warm, comforting dish that brings back memories of your grandma's kitchen. It’s hearty, simple, and hits the spot when you’re craving home-style cooking.

A heads-up: they only take cash, and finding a seat can be a bit tricky. When I visited, there was a line, and people were waiting for tables to free up. But don’t worry—the service is fast, and things move quickly once people finish their meals.

The vibe here is more like visiting a friend's home than dining in a restaurant, which adds to its charm. Highly recommend trying the Wheat Noodle with Peanut Butter Sauce and Steam Pork Bun—they were delicious!
